Location, staff, rooms, food, garden. Was very peaceful and clean and lovely. Staff were so kind.
Hotel staff is nice, the house is clean, the garden is cozy
Hot water is not hot, just a bit warm, which means very cold when the temp. Is low in winter. It's ok if you only stay one night and take no shower for just one night.
We loved the staff. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The setting of the hotel was also immaculate and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!
Was great to have electric blankets on the beds but the rooms were a little cold in the morning.
Fantastic levels of quality and service: the room and restaurant were excellent, the staff were always friendly and willing to help. I can strongly recommend this hotel.
Rooms are large, comfortable, clean and very quiet, in particular the ones facing the courtyard. The atmoshphere in the hotel is peaceful. Staff is friendly, prompt and very helpful. The food is freshly prepared, original and tasty. The garden is very nice with many flowers and plants.
There is no internet connection in all rooms. It is not so easy to find the hotel; taxi drivers do not know about it (yet), due to the recent opening.
Tibetan style architecture and hospitality. Comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Thoughtful touches in hotel like your suggestions and heating pad in bed. Good breakfast included. Beautiful peaceful garden
Hard to find by taxi. Other than Boudan Stupa, nothing within walking distance. Extremely removed from town centre and other tourist sites.
The hotel has very clean and spacious rooms with a beautiful natural wood design. The bathrooms are modern with lots of hot water (not always the case in Nepal). The Staff are friendly and helpful.
Not really the Hotel's fault, but nighttime can be a bit noisy with nearby dogs barking.
the hotel is a sterilised place in a slum. the road to the hotel is a dirt road, extremely polluted. A member of the staff gave us a ridiculous price for a taxi ride, which he said was the market rate. We did not accept fortunately as local taxis are not that expensive. Kathmandu is ok for one day, but best to head out to the national park or a trekk
Thought the staff were delightful and the rooms beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. Overall a great experience at the hotel. A real Oasis in Kathmandu. The food was lovely too.
Restaurant staff tried their very hardest and were very good, but the restaurant seemed understaffed at times so service was slow. The hotel was a lovely Oasis but Kathmandu itself was dirty and chaotic, with terrible pollution. Wifi was a bit hit and miss.
Loved everything! Indeed a peaceful haven where the land and the sky touch one another...
Slow and poor accounting, English difficulties- affecting capacity to advise for taxi times that take into account other things on, And also medical difficulties: I got a tik! On last nite but staff didn't understand. Had to go to emergency GP on return..
